Update: Sept. 6, 2013
Hello SparkFun,
Thank you for taking the time to visit my website.
I bought my first Arduino beginners kit at the beginning of this summer and I've had so much FUN it's hard to express myself... (OK, let me give it a shot real quick)...
You can skip this video I did... it's pretty silly... and not to the point!
I think it was BECAUSE I was having so much FUN that I came up with...
A BRIGHT IDEA with a
... BRILLIANT NEW TWIST!
Introducing a NEW line of... Solder FREE...
3D MATRIX LEDs
Clear Epoxy Custom Design LED Housing
Pass-Through Barrel Connectors
All the LEDs aligned in the vertical column share a common ANODE(+).
All the LEDs on the horizontal layer share a common CATHODE(-).
Solder FREE
3D MATRIX!!
Full-Scale Prototype made with my Dimension 3D Printer. The overall dimensions of the LED's shown here are 1/2" x 1/2" x 1/2" with 18 gauge wire. I recommend using "straight" wire.
The LED's are re-usable and the system can accommodate a variety configurations.

This is just the beginning! If I get encouraging feedback from this, I plan to continue designing NEW and INNOVATIVE Solder Free LED Housings. I have preliminary concepts for RGB LED's and, what I'm most excited about is designing for different GEOMETRIES!!
OCTET TRUSS
I am presenting this to you because SparkFun has educated me and inspired me. I believe I have something to contribute to Open Source Technology and I am asking for your assistance in producing and distributing these products.
This is all very new to me and I have a lot to learn but my 25 years experience in the building industry should adapt accordingly.
I sincerely look forward to hearing from you.

Update: Sept. 6, 2013
Please let me know if you have any question about me or about the other 3d matrix led designs I am pursuing.
If you would like I would be more than happy to send you this full scale prototype model for you to evaluate
... up-close and hands-on.
From this sample kit you can construct a 3x3x3 cube. You can also explore other matrix configurations as shown above.
